Torphichen, West Lothian, site of the Preceptory of Torphichen. In Robert Burns' time, the Preceptory and surrounding lands were owned by Lord Torphichen who was Depute Grand Master and is featured in the painting "The Inauguration of Robert Burns as Poet Laureate of Lodge Canongate Kilwinning, 1st March 1787".
