A lovely seaside town - scenic landscape and a quiet getaway. Visit nearby fishing village, Anstruther for one of the best fish n chips in Scotland (2006 Award winner). If you are planning a cullinary trip there - make sure you have more than an hour to spare, as the queues are LONG. Eating along the seafront is also a hazard (we resorted to eating on the seafront as the restaurant was super packed) due to the seagulls - so beware! Another attraction is the chain walk (part of the Fife coastal work), in which you walk along the cliffs by clinging onto chains while trying to avoid a 30m drop. Good for adrenaline junkies.
