Eglinton Castle
Archibald Montgomerie, 11th Earl of Eglinton lived at Eglinton Castle. He subscribed for forty-two copies of the Edinburgh Edition of Robert Burns and is featured in the painting "The Inauguration of Robert Burns as Poet Laureate of Lodge Canongate Kilwinning 1st March 1787".
