If Woodstock New York's restaurants are a little too busy, then take a short ride to Phoenicia and enjoy the tasty bites at Sweet Sues. If you love pancakes, this IS the place to go. Order only 2 at first and add more if you like later. The portions are as generous as the waitstaff.

Great for breakfast and lunch. Coffee and teas that are the best in town and all the baked goods are done right in the area. There might be a line, but it's well worth a bit of people watching!

What can I say...it's a great hike with view galore. The trail is wide and it will work your buns if you feel like skipping the gym. Your body, mind and soul will be happy you made the trek! There is camping also, so if you are so inclined, bring your pack and please don't forget water!

Great summer fun tubing down the Esopus. Don't let the light rapids fool you...it's a lot of fun but you just might fall in the drink. Bring sneakers and leave the flip flops behind unless you want to watch them float down the river and hoof it back barefoot.

Amazing Woodstock Vacation Rental built in 1969 in the infamous Byrdcliffe artist section. The southwestern handmade character of the house nestled in the woods doesn't get any better!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner from an extensive menu. The food is great and you can hang out in the Java Lounge upstairs surfing the internet or relaxing with a game of chess until about 8 or 9pm.

An amazing Vacation Rental location. Getaway and enjoy all Woodstock has to offer. The views are amazing, the tower is oh so Woodstock and you are just down the hill from The Bear Cafe. Want more info, then check out www.Barqua.com for reservations!

A great place to get hitched while looking at all the lovely mountains. The location has accomodations for the immediate family and there are vacation rentals in the area that can house your guests. You'll love it!

Great organic dishes with a choice of spice level. Lots of entertainment, events, and a great bar for socializing or just dining/drinking alone.

Some of the best food in Woodstock. Not much on the menu if your a veggie, but and excellent selection of American cuisine and extensive wine list. Crowd tends to be late 40s and older.
