This is where I go and do window shopping. I also love to go to get an Orange Julius and chill out and read a book for a bit. I will shop the bargain racks on all the mall stores and come home with some terriffic values. Once I bought a pair of leather pants, with no tears or mars either, discounted from $200 to just $20. I am a great bargain shopper and can find many bargains even in a mall, you just have to know when to go (what time of season) and where to look (bargain racks).

This is a great 9 executive course that a few friends and me have played. My husband prefers to play the larger courses (18 holes) while I prefer the 9 hole courses. Whenever he and I play I generally play the front 9 and he'll play the entire course. On a few occassions such as when he took me to play at Pleasant Valley (where I made my birdie) he will indulge me and play an executive/9 hole course.

I have golfed Heise many times over. Actually it is my favorite 9 hole golf course. Most of the holes are only 3 or 4 par, which I suppose wouldn't be much of a challenge to most seasoned golfers. That's why my husband doesn't golf here with me -- I go with friends instead. They have a great 10th hole where you can have pizza and beer or pop. There pizza, breadsticks and garlic bread are some of the best around. You can either sit outside on the veranda or sit inside near a low fire with high beamed log ceiling. There is also a water slide and hot tubs in the area. Nearby is also a camping site area and the Snake River where you can fly fish or bait fish. There is also a place for rv camping. It is a great place for a week or just a day trip. I have only taken advantage of a day trip to go golfing or fishing. Both have been fun every time I have gone.

This is where our grand-children Mykyla (4/16/1999) and Liberty (1/9/2005) who are sisters were born; Also Madison (8/20/2005) and Caleb (2/20/2008) sister and brother were born;Alex is their older sister who is born 4/20/1994.

The Texas Roadhouse in Pocatello opened up in October 2007. The food is excellant. However, the linedancers are the best since the took State Championship Linedancing Competition. You really must come here for both the entertainment and the great food. It's worth the wait, you don't wait long if you get there during the weekdays at 4p.m.

This is the hospital were both Kaleb and Paityn Jo were born. Kaleb was born Mar. 15,2005 and his sister Paityn Jo was born Feb. 20, 2008.

This is a place my Mother and I used to go to fish and have picnics. It is also a bird preserve so you can do bird-watching here.

This is one of my husband's favorite Local Courses in Pocatello. He has played this course for nearly 29 yrs. He knows all the differant angles and ways the course tilts. As most of it rolls/tilts towards town he says. Since he can't afford to play the Country Club in town -- this is his other Choice. The pro here is great at giving advice also.

This is a great place for family or just for you and your partner. They have outside pools that are natural hot springs. They also have secluded hot tubs for you and your partner (in which you can go in and lock the door). You can get a day pass or pay by the hour, the choice is yours. They also rent bathing suits, have changing rooms and showers with soaps/shampoo (rental lockers for your valuables too). The town also has many hotels/motels that have their own hot springs/hot tubs. There is also a main waterslide pool hot spring also (I haven't been to that one--it's always closed whenever I go). I've only been to this one and have enjoyed it each time. Each pool is a differant temperature so everyone should find one to their liking in your group. My husband has MS and has to go to one of lesser heat -- while the hotter the better for me -- you'll find me in the hottest one there! They even have one that's very tepid for babies.

I like to shop here also for most of the same reasons as I do at PineRidge Mall. Except I also have memories of taking my Mother here many times for Christmas Shopping before she passed. And now on a few occassions I have had the pleasure of shopping for gifts for grandchildren (of the my extended family) that live in Twin Falls.

This is where my husband and I shared our first kiss after our first date. We dated for about 4 months before we decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend. We were together for almost over three and a half years before we got married.

This is where I made my first Birdie. It was on the 7th hole. We were on top of the cliff and my shot went down to where the tee was with no problem but I figured it went up against the fence and I'd have an awful position. When we got down there though to our surprise it was within a foot of the hole. I just chipped it in. I am a very amatuer golfer so this surprised both me and my boyfriend (as we weren't married at the time). To this day it still remains my only "birdie" and I haven't had the opportunity to return to golf at Pleasant Valley again yet. But I plan to do so as soon as my husband's knees are healed from the surgeries he's had recently.
