Lao Shichuan

Their choices are extensive with 3 levels of spiciness that you can choose from. I am pretty sure the highest level requires stomachs of steel. I especially love their Ma poh tou fu which just the right amount of tongue numbing peppercorn taste and the level of spiciness I can bear. The doublecooked spicy pork with green peppers is another yummy one.

Take note that weekends can get especially crowded and most times you will have to wait for your table even at about 9pm.

Burdick's Chocolate Cafe

We went to check it out based on a friend's recommendation and boy was it crowded. Its a little like a starbucks set up with a counter to take your orders and waiting to get your drink on the other side. I was told that you HAVE to try their Hot Chocolate drink which is their speciality. You can choose to have it dark, milk chocolate or white. There was also a whole lot of mouth watering chocolate something or other cakes pastries and tarts. At the front of the store there is another counter that sold novelty chocolates and confections.
