  <description><![CDATA[Qutab Rd New Delhi, India<br /><br />Qutab Minar is the one of the oldest towers in the world At  72.5 metres (239 ft) high.base is 14.3 M dia at base and 2.7 at top, it is the tallest brick minaret in the world, The Qutab Complex started in 12th century AD  by the Mulsim conqurers (commander of Muhammad Ghori) from the ruines of Old Hindu and Jain temples. The iron Pillar of ChandraGUpta II Vikramaditya'a time of the Jain temple (350 CE) still stands there. It is a world Heritage site and a major Tourist Attraction. After many suisides by jumping from top, going to the top is stopped. I could not put my arms back around the Iron Pillar to get good luck as the belief goes! We had a great visit there in 1986-7.]]></description>

  <description><![CDATA[Toronto, Canada<br /><br />I was in Canada in May 1989. It is a vast country indeed scaresly populated. But great place!. I could see only Toronto and  Winnipeg. I missed Niagra Falls and the great Alaska trip!
May be sometime in future. But the toronto tower was a landmark! With that I have 6 great towers under my foot!. Eiffel, Sydney, Toronto, Kutab Minar, Kuwait tower and our own Kingdom tower in Riyadh.]]></description>
