Since 1953, folk artists have come together for one of the oldest state folk festivals in America. The Florida Folk Festival, Florida’s premier heritage event, continues a grand tradition of celebrating Florida’s land, people and diverse cultural heritage with more than 200 performances each day by Florida’s greatest folk and roots artists—a river of talent.

Annual reenactment of the Civil War Battle of Olustee

This is a music/arts festival held at the Barberville Pioneer Settlement, place where our students visit for a study trip.

Visit this restored city to learn about Florida's history; great to visit when there are reenactors in town, such as the Lighting of the City usually the first weekend in December. Great for field/study trips.
