The seat of both the mayor and city council, Rathaus, is a grand building in the heart of Vienna. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and situated opposite the Hofburgtheater. In summer (which was when I visited Vienna), a huge screen is hoisted up in front of the Rathaus in conjunction with the summer film festival.
